Chennai witnessed an electrifying atmosphere at the Nehru Indoor Stadium on Wednesday, as fans gathered to celebrate the phenomenal success of his latest blockbuster, 'Leo'. The actor, alongside director Lokesh Kanagaraj and the entire cast and crew, came together to revel in the film's extraordinary triumph. This success meet comes in the wake of 'Leo' crossing the remarkable milestone of Rs 541 crore worldwide within 12 days.

The event kicked off on a high note as Vijay's fans cheered fervently, echoing the famous lines from his hit song from Leo's Naa Ready beats, Tow Tow Tow, initiating an evening filled with gratitude and celebration. Addressing the roaring crowd, Vijay expressed his heartfelt thanks, acknowledging the overwhelming love and support he has received from his fans.

He humbly stated, "I thought these days, I had you all in my hearts, but now I realized you all have me in your hearts. My wishes to my loving fans who reside in my heart. What am I going to do for the love you give me without any expectations? How can I repay the love you shower upon me without expecting anything in return? Even if I were to sacrifice my very skin for your feet, it wouldn't suffice."

He emphasized the significance of pursuing challenging goals, with his trademark Kutty Story, stating, "Winning over something easy is not a success, nanba (friend)! We are at least trying to win a hard game, right? Always aim big like Bharathi said, “Perhinum perithu kel (Ask the biggest of the biggest). That’s how your dreams, thoughts, and work should be. Everyone has a place here, Nanba. No one else can take it away.”

Vijay also addressed the controversy surrounding the song lyrics, emphasizing the artificial nature of cinema and the need for fans to enjoy movies as they are meant to be seen. He clarified, "Why assume it's about a cigarette? It could be a pen to script judgments, Similarly, the line 'Quarter pathathu tandava konda' shouldn't automatically be associated with alcohol; it could simply represent something as innocent as porridge."

"Let's view the movie as it is meant to be. Cinema, globally, is perceived as a form of artificial entertainment. Within this cinematic world, there are protagonists and antagonists. Various elements are employed to distinguish between the two. I don't need to elaborate on this; I trust you all are already aware."

Amidst the fanfare, Vijay took a moment to reflect on the ongoing 'Superstar' debate on social media, emphasizing "There’s on"ly one ‘Puratchi Thalaivar’, only one ‘Nadigar Thilagam’, only one ‘Puratchi Kalaignar Captain’, only one Ulaganayagan’, only one ‘Superstar’, only one ‘Thala’." After a small pause, when the fans start shouting Thalapathy, "the people are the kings and I am their ‘Thalapathy’ (commander),”

Vijay's words of wisdom extended to the online world, where he addressed the rising anger on social media platforms. "Lately, I am noticing that there's a lot of anger on social media. Why? We all have a lot of work to do. Like Gandhi said, 'Non-violence is more powerful than violence,", urging fans to promote positivity and unity online.

In a lighthearted moment, when the anchor asked about his plans for 2026, Vijay humorously replied, "Cup-u mukiyam Bigilu (Winning the cup is important, Bigilu)."  When the anchor also asked what position Lokesh Kanagaraj would hold if he made 10 films and joined his party, Vijay responded, "You're posing a hypothetical question, so I'll also answer it in a creative manner. He would serve as the Minister of Narcotics Control".

Leo, released on 19th October 2023, featured a star-studded ensemble cast including Vijay, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Trisha, Madonna Sebastian, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, George Maryan, Priya Anand, and Mathew Thomas.  The music was composed by Anirudh Ravichander, where  Manoj Paramahamsa handled the cinematography and Philomin Raj took care of editing.
