The Tamil cinema industry is buzzing with excitement as Leo is coming to theatres in three days. And the duo of its most popular stars, Trisha and Vijay, are teaming up for the fifth time in their upcoming film Leo, is another factor to add excitement. They have delivered blockbuster hits like Aathi, Thirupachi, Kuruvi and Ghilli, and are back on screen after a gap of 15 years.
Fans of both actors are eagerly waiting to see their sizzling chemistry and electrifying performance in Leo, which is said to be a high-octane action thriller. The film is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, and written along with Rathna Kumar and Dheeraj Vaidy.
To add to the hype, Trisha recently shared some behind-the-scenes photos of her and Vijay from the sets of Leo on her social media account. The photos show the actors in casual outfits, smiling which took on the shooting spot. Trisha captioned the photos with emojis, which went viral on social media.
Fans showering praises and compliments on the pair. Many also expressed their nostalgia for their previous films, especially Ghilli, which was a remake of the Telugu film Okkadu. Ghilli was one of the highest-grossing Tamil films of 2004 and is considered a cult classic.
Leo marks the fifth collaboration of Trisha and Vijay, who made their debut together in Aathi in 2001. Since then, they have shared screen space in Thirupachi (2005), Kuruvi (2008) and Ghilli (2004). They are one of the most loved and successful pairs in Tamil cinema history.
The film Leo also features Sanjay Dutt, Trisha, Priya Anand, Arjun, and Mansoor Ali Khan. The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The film is produced by Lalit Kumar and co-produced by Jagadish Palanisamy under the banner of Seven Screen Studio
