It is a dream come true for any filmmaker to work with the legendary Superstar Rajinikanth, who has been ruling the South cinema industry for over five decades. And it seems that the young and talented director Lokesh Kanagaraj has got this golden opportunity to helm Rajinikanth’s next film after ‘Lal Salaam’.

Mysskin, who will appear alongside Vijay in the upcoming film "Leo" directed by Lokesh, has confirmed the exciting news. Mysskin recently discussed his feelings of pride and happiness for Lokesh Kanagaraj in an interview with an online media outlet.

He added that Rajinikanth had praised Lokesh's abilities and vision, expressing a desire to collaborate with him. However, he also dropped a bombshell by saying that he heard that this film could be Rajinikanth’s last film before he quits acting for good.

While there is no official announcement yet about Lokesh Kanagaraj’s film with Rajinikanth, tentatively referred as ‘Thalaivar 171’, fans are eagerly waiting for more details about this project. It is expected that Lokesh will wrap up his film with Vijay, ‘Leo’, which also stars Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Menon and others, before he starts working on ‘Thalaivar 171’.

If this turns out to be true, then it will be a grand finale for Rajinikanth’s illustrious career, and its  a huge milestone for Lokesh Kanagaraj’s promising journey. An official announcement regarding this prestigious project is yet to be made. But there been reports that the actor already done a photoshoot for the project.
