MK Stalin's first overseas tour after becoming Chief Minister...All set to fly to Dubai: What's the agenda?

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin is all set to fly overseas for the first time after taking the office as he will be touring Dubai next month with a crucial agenda. The concerned state government officials are busy making arrangements for the tour in which the Chief Minister will be accompanied by certain ministers and bureaucrats. 

According to our sources, MK Stalin will be visiting the Dubai Expo 2020 which has been underway since late last year. The global expo, which has been participated by around 190 countries including India, will be held till March 31 and the event is in the spotlight and has been attracting thousands of visitors. Each participating country has installed a separate arena to showcase its heritage and tradition. 

Likewise, India has set up an arena that was earlier inaugurated by Union Minister Piyush Goyal. From March 18 to March 24, the Tamil Nadu government will be exhibiting its tourism, culture, and tradition to the world in the Indian arena. The state government has been eyeing investments towards agriculture and various sectors from the global hands. 

For this exhibition, our sources say that the Tamil Nadu government has allotted Rs 5 crore and to take part in the exhibition organized by the state government, Chief Minister MK Stalin will be travelling to Dubai next month, which will become his first overseas tour since taking the office. The Chief Minister will be accompanied by the ministers of the concerned departments and authorities and the arrangements for the tour are underway in a full swing.
