'Nithyananda expands his boundary of crimes...'

The name and face of the self-styled godman Nithyananda have again been occupying the headlines with the fierce questions and accusations against the alleged crimes, sexual assaults, and harassment that he has committed under the name of divine holiness despite his whereabout remains unclear.

Janarthana Sharma, a native of Kumbakonam in Tamil Nadu has been a devotee of Nithyananda and after getting into the circle of the godman, Sharma admits his four children in Nithyananda's Gurukul which functions in Bidadi, Bengaluru in the year of 2013. Of those four, three are his daughters and one son. In 2018, there were alleged arguments and conflicts between Nithyananda and Janarthana Sharma after which the godman kept four children in hostage and refused to release them from his gurukul. After a series of battles, Janarthana Sharma had managed to rescue one daughter and his son from the nests of Nithyananda but the teenage daughters Lobamuthra Sharma (21) and Nandhitha Sharma (18) remained under the hands of Nithyananda.

One of his rescued children had revealed that "the gurukuls of Nithyananda don't teach the students but rather it pressurizes the students to sell the products of the ashram and they will beat and torture the students if the students fail to reach their sales target and they would keep the students in hunger and they didn't let our father visit us in the gurukul". The children stated that " after our father had fought with the gurukul, the women disciples of Nithyananda who manage the school, Saathvi Piran Priyanandha and Priyathvaa Rithikaran had sent our father to the gurukul which is in the premises of Delhi Public School in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Our father had extensively searched for us and the disciples of Nithyananda had kept us in their captivity without providing food in a secret place, the children add with full of tears.

After rescuing his two children, Janarthana Sharma had pleaded the godman to release the other two teenage children by citing their age. With the view of giving a counter, Nithyananda had sent a video of the speech of Janarthana's daughter  Lobamuthra Sharma in which Lobamuthra said that she is touring with Nithyananda in the Caribean island of Trinidad. In her video, she denies Janarthana as her father and asserts that she has become a major and accused his father of forcing her to have sexual relations with his friend in her home after which she united with Nithyananda and urges her father not to separate her from the godman Nithyananda.

After hearing the video, Janarthana Sharma has complained police department. Nithyananda observes bitter relations with the BJP backed and supported godmen like Sri Sri Ravishankar, Baba Ramdev, and Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev and these godmen have been accused by Nithyananda and after having been booked by the police department in Modi's home state of Gujarat, the BJP backed godmen got tensed against Nithyananda. His action to station the children in Ahmedabad to skip the consequences in Bengaluru had brought in more complicated ones.

The sources had revealed that his complaint had reached the attention of Amit Shah where the home minister voiced against Nithyananda in Gujarat, where he hails from. After booking a complaint, the police department of Gujarat had conducted a raid in Nithyananda's Gurukul in which they rescued three other children from the control of his disciples and later, they were sent to the government hostel and the police had attained their confessions and the three children had echoed the same allegations as like the children of Janarthana Sharma. With accord to the complaint filed by Janarthana Sharma and based on the confessions from the rescued children, the police have arrested Saathvi Piran Priyanandha and Priyathvaa Rithikaran, who managed the gurukul. These women's disciples were booked under the grounds of abducting and torturing the children and selling the defaming and pornography products and Nithyananda was added the first accused in all these allegations.

The district collector of Ahmedabad had ordered for a probe consists of Gujarat police, Social Welfare, and Child welfare committee to expose the allegations against Nithyananda. The sources close to the developments stated that his gurukul was termed illegal by the Karnataka government after which he seeded his atrocities in Gujarat that had now erupted the heat in Modi and Amit Shah's home state. The recent allegations against Nithyananda get added inline to the harassment case that was filed against the godman for allegedly harassing his male and female disciples before some years and Nithyananda had skipped the trail for the past one year and since the recent allegations had proven his ill mind, the Ram Nagar court in Karnataka would likely pronounce arrest warrant against the self-styled godman.

These cases have been queuing up with dozens of cases filed against the godman including the suspicious death of Sangeetha, one of his disciples in his ashram, the case filed by the Enforcement Directorate under the grounds of money laundering and the case that was filed against his Thiruvannamalai ashram in Tamil Nadu for allegedly destroying about thousand idols of Lord Shiva. While questioned about his whereabouts, Nithyananda's disciples have claimed that he is now camped in Ecuador, a country in the South American continent where he bought an island. Despite been enhancing his crimes, it has been reported that the chapter of Nithyananda is in its final stage.
