"Please give us a gap!" RRR director goes over the moon when the film bags the next honorable award...

With 21 awards already under its belt, RRR continued it streak of success by conferred with Padma Shri award, the India's fourth highest Civilian Award. And on 26th January on Republic Day, at Raj Bhavan, Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan honored the composer. The film's director, SS Rajamouli, posts the good news on social media, pleading, "Please give us a gap. Let us enjoy one award and then go for the next.''. The prestigious Padma awards also conferred to singers Suman Kalyanpur and Vani Jairam for their exemplary service to the country.

The team won in total of 7 awards in the first month itself of the New Year 2023 starting from ' Alliance of Women FIlm Journalists', 'Critics' Choice Movie Awards', 'Georgia Film Critics Association', 'Golden Globe Awards', 'Online FIlm Critics Society', 'Seattle FIlm Critics Society', to 'Padma Shri Awards for 2023'. The Telangana Government at the Republic Day on Thursday on January 26th at Hyderabad honored him with a shawl and citation in recognition of their achievement on winning many awards and a Oscar nomination.

Sharing this joyous news SS Rajamouli, the director of RRR and Keeravani's brother took to Twitter and wrote, "Like many of your fans feel, this recognition indeed was long over due. But, as you say the universe has a strange way of rewarding one's efforts.If I can talk back to universe, I would say, 'Please give us a gap. Let us enjoy one award and then go for the next.' MY PEDDANNA. MM KEERAVAANI. RECIPIENT OF PADMA SHRI AWARD. PROUD!!!"

MM Keeravaani wrote, "Much honoured by the civilian award from the Govt of India Respect for my parents and all of my mentors from Kavitapu Seethanna garu to Kuppala Bulliswamy Naidu garu on this occasion" The epic period drama narrates a tale based on the life of Telugu Freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. While Ram Charan plays as Alluri Seetharama Raju, NT Rama Rao plays as Komaram Bheem.

The film released on March 2022. The director also confirmed that the sequel will also be made on the fictional brothers' tale. Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, and Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson, Makarand Deshpande, and Olivia Morris are just a few of the stars featured in the ensemble cast of the film.
