The prestigious Padma awards also conferred to singers Suman Kalyanpur and Vani Jairam for their exemplary service to the country.

Both these snake catchers, Vadivel Gopal and Masi Sadaiyan, have been conferred with the Padma Shri, the country's fourth-highest civilian award. 

Nadella was one of the 17 Padma Bhushan recipients. After receiving the award, he said that he is planning to visit India in January 2023, after a span of three years. 

One of the legendary recipients who received the Padma Shri Award on Monday is veteran actress Sowcar Janaki, who won the award at the age of 90. 

"He is a Tamil scholar, television personality and actor. An unparalleled orator, he has gained fame through the ‘Pattimandram’ TV shows for the past 25 years", Rashtrapati Bhavan said.
