'Please stop broadcast of any false information': Actress Meena's first statement after her husband's death!

Actress Meena has issued her first statement after the demise of her husband Vidya Sagar, who died earlier this week at the age of 48 due to post- Covid complications. Vidya Sagar was getting treated at a private hospital in Chennai nearly for three months. His demise was the talk of the town and parallelly, there were several speculations doing rounds over the cause of his death.

Several people have claimed that Vidya Sagar has got a lung infection due to inhaling the air filled with the odour of pigeon droppings. Earlier this year, Vidya Sagar has contracted the Covid pandemic and though he recovered from the disease, he complained of post-Covid complications after which he was admitted to the hospital.

There were reports that said that Covid was the cause of death. Amid such speculations, Tamil Nadu Health Minister Ma Subramanian has clarified that Vidya Sagar developed lung disease in December last year and was treated at home with the help of oxygen cylinders.
