While, on one hand, Actor and still political hopeful Rajinikanth has kept the suspense alive over his political entry, on the other hand, his fans and the members of the Rajini Makkal Mandram have seemingly been keeping their hopes alive to welcome the actor into politics as they have swung into action to create the revolution in the politics towards paving way for the superstar's entry.
Recently, in the press meeting that was organized in Leela Palace hotel in Chennai, Rajinikanth said that he would enter the politics only after the revolution and he further stated that he won't be the Chief Ministerial candidate, instead, he would lead the party and party would name someone young who has ambition, vision, self-respect, dignity, and good social thinking as it's Chief Minister candidate. Although his statements had spurred up the series criticisms from the other side of the aisle and sarcastic trolls on the social media platforms, the actions from his fans to seed the revolution has apparently shown that the actor has got a strong base across the state.
Our sources on the ground say that the fans have been hoping for his political entry. Moments after his press meet, his statements had torched the celebrations among the members of the Rajini Makkal Mandram (RMM) as with the view of welcoming his speech over calling for revolution, RMM members in Tirunelveli district had distributed the sweets and fired the crackers and in Madurai district, the members had pasted the posters with the slogans of changing the systems and some of the district secretaries had organized meetings on how to reach the people.
The RMM in Tirunelveli district had decided to conduct door-to-door campaigns, issuing pamphlets, and airing Rajini's speech on the digital screen installed in the vehicle with the motive of creating a revolution and change among the people as wished by the actor.
Some of the districts like Madurai, Ramanathapuram, Pudukottai, Vellore, Theni, and Tiruvallur had hosted the district level meetings. The RMM members in Pudukottai had sat down under the tree and spoken about Rajini's vision to the people and by claiming that they would reach Rajinikanth to reconsider his decision for running to the post of Chief Minister, Vellore district members had reiterated that they would work for creating revolution among the people.
The member of the Rajini Makkal Mandram in Kongu belt told us that Rajini's statement has only one meaning in it. Rajini said the members to deeply register to the people that he will not be the Chief Ministerial candidate and this would, in turn, get converted to the revolution and Rajini thinks that would be the right time to launch his political entry. Our sources say that the team led by Rajini's younger daughter Soundarya has been negotiating with some of the mobile networks like Airtel, Vodafone, and Jio to air Rajini's statement of "If political change won't occur now, it will never occur" as the caller tune.
