Sivakarthikeyan teams up with his popular co-actor and award winning filmmaker for his new production venture!

Tamil actor and producer Sivakarthikeyan has announced his next production project, and it has already grabbed the attention of many film enthusiasts. The actor is teaming up with none other than Oscar-nominated filmmaker Vinodh Raj for his upcoming production venture. His next production venture titled "Kottukkaali". Written and directed by Vinoth Raj, the film stars Soori and marks the Tamil debut of Anna Ben, who is known for her critically acclaimed performances in Malayalam films.

On Friday, Sivakarthikeyan took to Twitter to announce the collaboration, revealing that the film will be lead with actor Soori and produced under the banner of his own production house, Sivakarthikeyan Productions. The announcement has left fans excited, as both Sivakarthikeyan and Vetri Maaran are well-known for their contributions to Tamil cinema.

Sivakarthikeyan also released the first look tease video of "Kottukkaali", which gives a glimpse into the intense and sincere role played by Soori. He took to Twitter and wrote, "Unveiling the first-look tease of our proud presentation, #Kottukkaali A @PsVinothraj directorial @sakthidreamer @thecutsmaker Exceptional stories need exceptional performers; here we have @sooriofficial & @benanna_love @Siva_Kartikeyan @KalaiArasu_".

Going by the announcement, the technical crew has the cinematography from Sakthi. Ganesh Siva for the editing, and the sound design is being done by Suren G and S. Alagia Koothan. The teaser promises a village-based drama, with Anna Ben also seen in the video. Vinoth Raj, who directed the critically acclaimed film "Koozhangal", is helming this project. Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan produced the movie. It took home the top prize at the IFFR Tiger Awards in 21 and was India's official Oscar submission.

There is no information available regarding the music director of the film, but the crew and the cast have already created a buzz among fans. For Soori, "Kottukkaali" is his next big project as an actor after the highly anticipated "Viduthalai" directed by Vetrimaran, which also stars Vijay Sethupathi and is slated for release at the end of March. As for Anna Ben, "Kottukkaali" is a big step in her career, marking her entry into the Tamil film industry.
