This speech of Vajpayee had terrified Pakistan!

It was one fine day in the second week of May 1999 when two shepherd boys were panicked and rushed into the police station where the police cops doubtfully asked them whether they had lost their belongings for which they shockingly told that they have seen group of men armed with military guns and weapons in their cattle field who rushed behind us and threatened before we reached here. They conveyed the incident with full of tears which had happened in Kashmir's district of Kargil and their evident witness seeded the rise of Kargil war.

Regardless of having majority of its territory in India, the state of Jammu and Kashmir has entitled to enjoy what other states doesn't do. Article 370 of Indian constitution had granted special status to the state of Jammu and Kashmir where the state hold the right to design their own flag, the state's legislative will last for six years and no Indians from the other parts of the country is allowed to acquire or purchase land in Kashmir.

Under the grounds of geographical distance, Jammu and Kashmir is India's fifth largest state which borders its territory with China, Pakistan and Afghanistan. Kargil is one among 22 districts in the state and is the gateway to taking Army goods and ammunition. Located 210 kilometers far from the state's capital Srinagar, Kargil is on of the district which lies very near to the Himalayan range of mountains which will witness extreme cold of minus degree Celsius in all of its winter season and as per Indo-Pak agreement, the armed forces from both the countries will vacate the Kargil hills and won't be on ground from September 15th to April 15 each year and they will resume their operations after April 15th .

Likewise, as soon as the Indian armed forces returned to their camps in 1999, the trespassing of group of armed men had reached their attention through the local shepherds. On their ride, they eventually located the secret camps which was camped by Pakistani forces along with the terrorists in Indian soil. Indian armed forces had determined that Pakistan had planned for incursion under the operation of Koh Paima.

On May 26, 1999 India had retaliated Pakistan under Operation Vijay, it had started to rescue its bases by furious launch of air strikes and missiles by the Indian Air force on the Pakistani targets. As Pakistan had been in the edge of losing the war, it had requested the intervention of the United states for which the then US President Bill Clinton had eventually denied and urged Pakistan to take back its troops. With no way in front its operation, Pakistan had finally taken back its forces after abiding the defeat and India profoundly taken Kargil into its fullest control on July 26th 1999 by flagging our tricolor.

Ahead to this massive victory, the then Prime minister Vajpayee had told that he was surprised to see the nation to lodge the war against India against whom they can't even staged their victory in cricket world cup. It was said that after India defeated Pakistan in that season of World cup, Prime minister had bowled out Pakistan through his comment which still keeps the neighborhood country in fear.
