'Super da thambi': Special 'Tamil' wish for Dhanush from popular Hollywood directors!

Actor Dhanush is under a global rain of wishes and commendations as his much-anticipated 'Jagame Thandiram' is out on Netflix today and the movie has reached the hands of the planet after several delays and barricades. The movie has garnered a remarkable reception across and beyond the borders with positive critics.

Jagame Thandiram is the first movie of Dhanush that directly got released on the OTT platform. The movie was released in 190 countries and in over a dozen of languages on Netflix. In what has become a much-expected treat for the fans and audiences after Asuran, they stormed the streaming platform and watched the movie on its first day. 

While the movies Asuran and Karnan had spoken about the injustices and discrimination, the notorious gangster in Dhanush in Jagame Thandiram had taken him to a world stage. After blockbuster hits of Asuran and Karnan, the actor had naturally carried more expectations from his next, and Jagame Thandiram had delivered them to the fans and audiences.

Dhanush plays the role of the notorious gangster in Jagame Thandiram and while he plays the lead role, Aishwarya Lakshmi and Sanjana Natarajan had played the female leads. Bankrolled by Sasikanth under the banner of Y NOT Studios, the movie is directed by Karthik Subbaraj. Santhosh Narayanan has composed the music and Hollywood actor James Cosmo plays the antagonist. 

Jagame Thandiram has hit Netflix after a long wait and the movie has received a huge welcome for becoming a commercial entertainer of the year. While his ardent fans in Tamil Nadu and beyond are celebrating Dhanush, the actor has got a special wish from popular Hollywood directors - The Russo brothers and their wishes have become a display of the scale of Dhanush's reach in the global cinema industry. 

Taking to Twitter, the Russo brothers wrote, "Super da thambi! (Brother) Excited to be working with Dhanush and good luck with Jagame Thandiram." The brothers had tagged director Karthick Subbaraj and production unit Y Not Studios. Their tweet has been going viral and replying to the Russo brothers, Dhanush said, "Thank you so much. That's very sweet of you. Means a lot to me."

Dhanush has currently been working with the Russo Brothers for the Hollywood movie 'The Gray Man'. Dhanush is acting in a pivotal role in the movie and he will be sharing the screen space with popular Hollywood actors 'Captain America' Chris Evans, Ryan Gosling, Julia Butters, and Jessica Henwick. The movie is been made with a budget of $200 million. The Russo brothers - Anthony Russo and Joe Russo are globally known for directing Captain America and Avengers series.
