Surprising Buzz: Kamal Hassan starrer Indian 2 have this versatile star to play the crucial antagonist!

The versatile star and director SjSuryah, who has carved a niche for himself in the Tamil and Telugu film industries, known for his versatile performances in films like Vaali, Kushi, Spyder and Mersal. He has also directed films like New, Anbe Aaruyire and Isai. And now, he is all set to take on the legendary Kamal Haasan in one of the most anticipated films of the year - Indian 2.

The much-awaited sequel to Kamal Haasan’s 1996 blockbuster Indian is finally nearing completion. The film, directed by Shankar, has been in the making for a long time due to various reasons. However, the latest buzz is that the film has a surprise element in store for the fans. According to sources, SjSuryah has played the main antagonist in the film and has completed his portions. The team has kept this as a secret and will reveal it only during the promotions.

SjSuryah had hinted about his role in a big film in a recent interview, but did not reveal any details. He said that he was offered the role by a top director and that he had to undergo a physical transformation for it. He also said that he was very happy with the way his character shaped up and that it would be a milestone in his career.

This is not the first time that SjSuryah will be playing a villain opposite a big star. He has already impressed the audience with his negative roles in Vijay’s Mersal, Mahesh Babu’s Spyder, and Simbu's Maanadu. He is also playing a villain in two upcoming big-budget films - Shankar’s Game Changer opposite Ram Charan and Karthik Subbaraj’s Jigarthanda 2 opposite Raghava Lawrence.

Indian 2 is a sequel to the 1996 film Indian, which featured Kamal Haasan in dual roles as a freedom fighter and his son, who fights against corruption. The sequel will have Kamal Haasan reprising his roles, along with Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth and Bobby Simha playing pivotal roles. The music of the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, while the cinematography is handled by Ravi Varman.

Meanwhile SJ Suyah is currently awaiting the release of his romantic thriller Bommai, directed by Radha Mohan and co-starring Priya Bhavani Shankar. The second trailer of the film was released recently and received positive response from the audience.
