ADMK has been pushed to a state of balancing its allegiance to the BJP and its drive of meeting the demands from other allied parties. 

The ADMK has begun reaching out to other parties in the allies, and in line with that, ADMK leaders had on Saturday met DMDK founder Vijayakanth. 

The announcement had drawn major significance as PMK has joined the ADMK alliance for the first time in twenty years for the legislative elections.

DMK has many allies to accommodate in the polls and the party's leadership led by Stalin has been carrying out the talks to equally balance the party's interest and the demands of allied parties.

The surprising moves had implied the state that the third front like the 2016 polls will be on the ballots in the upcoming elections. 

On Friday, the ECI has announced that Tamil Nadu will go to the polls on April 6, 2021, and the results would be announced on May 2, during which the state will know who will be the next Chief Minister. 

On Wednesday, VK Sasikala had paid floral tribute to Jayalalithaa at her residence in T Nagar in the presence of his nephew TTV Dhinakaran and her supporters.

Dhinakaran said that Sasikala has said what he has been saying. He stated that all Jayalalithaa's supporters and cadres should stay united to stop DMK from taking power.

The 73rd birth anniversary of Jayalalithaa had stirred the clash between two factions on who really owns the legacy of the late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister.

On the other hand, DMK's drive of collecting nominations will come to an end by Wednesday and hundreds of members had moved their nominations.
