The film is co-produced by Aruna Bhatia (Cape Of Good Films), Suriya and Jyotika (2D Entertainment) and Vikram Malhotra (Abundantia Entertainment).

After a successful reception in the movie Vikram, Suriya gears up to the rock the screens with another cameo appearance by sharing the screen with Bollywood star Akshay Kumar. 

Akshay Kumar has in last week apologized to his fans and asserted that he is spending the endorsement fee for a worthy cause.

Though some had welcomed his appeal over the concern of rising in cases, the others didn't receive it well as they had strongly criticized the actor by claiming that he had attacked the Hindu festival and culture.
