According to the official press release issued by the state health department, Tamil Nadu has tested 27,79,062 samples so far including 60,344 that were tested on Sunday.
The hospital has said that the Honourable Governor of Tamil Nadu Shri Banwarilal Purohit tested positive for COVID-19. He is asymptomatic and clinically stable.
