At the current state, 19 districts in the state had crossed the tally of 2,000 cases of which five districts have crossed the tally of 5,000 COVID-19 cases.

By calling the people to return to work, the Chief Minister stated that the economy is important and claimed that people who came from Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra had added more COVID-19 cases in Karnataka.

As of Saturday, Tamil Nadu has reported 1,65,714 cases so far of which 49,452 are active, 1,13,856 have been recovered, and 2,403 had succumbed to the virus.
