A micro-containment zone has been created where the Omicron infected man is staying and the officials are tracing and testing his contacts.

The collector said that if a person has received the first dose of the vaccine and is yet to get the due for the second dose, they are allowed to venture into public places.

"He has fully recovered but advised to be on isolation until 3rd December 2021. He will be fit to resume his routine work from 4th December 2021", the hospital added.

It has infected over 380 people in 30 countries so far including India, with two Omicron cases that were detected on Thursday in Karnataka. 

India has also been staying alert over the outbreak and on Thursday, the country has reported the cases of Omicron for the first time. 

The hospital has on Wednesday issued an official statement concerning the actor's health condition in which it has said that he continues to be in isolation.
