According to reports, Manish Sisodia is the first prominent leader in Delhi to have contracted with a double infection of COVID-19 and Dengue.  

"Bala Subramaniam sir. All the strength hope wishes from the bottom of my heart to a speedy recovery", Salman Khan tweeted.

"His condition in the last 24 hours has deteriorated further warranting maximum life support and he is extremely critical", the hospital said.

By announcing the partial re-opening, the government has stressed that the order won't be applicable for the schools that are in the containment zones, as these schools would remain closed.

The reports say Vijayakanth could have contracted to the novel coronavirus when he attended the party event that was recently held at the party headquarters in Koyambedu. 

Vijayakanth has already been suffering from prolonging kidney and liver-related ailments and he has been receiving treatments at home and abroad.

"He was a dedicated MP and effective Minister, admired across the spectrum. His demise is saddening. My thoughts are with his family and friends in this sad hour. Om Shanti", the Prime Minister tweeted.

The three hours of power cut had caused disruption in the supply of oxygen for the patients, who were on the support of the ventilator. 

Giving another shock to the family, the hospital had produced a total bill of Rs 4 lakh for the treatment in four days.

The Prime Minister would be chairing the meet on Wednesday - September 23 during which he would be taking stock of the COVID-19 situation in the seven worst-hit states.
