The festival will also feature screenings, masterclasses, panel discussions and cultural events from August 11 to 20th 2023.

Around 30 films in Tamil language have applied in the competition for Tamil films and of these 30, 12 movies have been selected and would be screened in the current festival. 

Written and directed by Gautham Ramachandran, 'Gargi' follows the narration of a middle-class family woman - a soft-spoken, innocent school teacher.
