Watch: Sai Pallavi is back as a teacher...The gripping trailer of 'Gargi' is out!

Popular actor Sai Pallavi, who rose to fame through her role as a teacher in 'Premam', is back as a teacher and this time, in an intriguing and thriller movie 'Gargi'. The much-awaited trailer of the movie was released on Thursday- July 7 and caught into the wave of virality. The trailer was released by a handful of Kollywood icons and poured a promise of presenting a rollercoaster ride for the audience.  

Kollywood icons Surya, Arya, Lokesh Kanagaraj, and Anirudh have released the trailer on their respective Twitter handles. Sai Pallavi is known for her movies Maari 2 and NGK. She had been busy working with the Telugu projects. Her latest released 'Shyam Singha Roy' and 'Virata Parvam' received a good reception in the theatres. 'Gargi' is an upcoming movie written and directed by Gautham Ramachandran.

Sai Pallavi took to Twitter and wrote, "Gargi...She'll need your love and blessing. I'm extremely elated to share the trailer with you all!." She has also shared the links for the trailer. The movie will be released in Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. Rana Daggubati and Nani have released the trailer of the movie's Telugu version while Rakshit Shetty has released the trailer of the movie's Kannada version. 

Gargi has been slated for a theatrical release on July 15 and while the movie is presented by Suriya-Jyothika's own banner '2D Entertainment', the music is composed by Govind Vasantha. The movie is co-produced by Shakti Film Factory and Black Genie Productions. Sraiyanti and Shafique Mohamed Ali have done cinematography and editing respectively. 

Actor Suriya took to Twitter and wrote, "Happy to bring different and strong stories to you all...Here's the Gargi trailer. Our hearty wishes to the entire team!! In cinemas from 15th July." The three-minute trailer features mostly Saipallavi, bearing the same titular name, 'Gargi'. She was shown as a woman from a conventional family, whose circumstances changes when her father got arrested. It covers mostly courtroom drama and she faces legal proceedings. While Sai Pallavi features as a teacher, Kaali Venkat, Saravanan, the fame of 'Paruthiveeran', and Aishwarya Lekshmi play a crucial role.
