The film is expected to go on floors soon, with Ravi K Chandran as the cinematographer, Sreekar Prasad as the editor, and Anbariv as the stunt choreographer. 

Kamal Haasan steps into the shoes of Rangaraya Sakthivel Nayakar from Kayalpattinam, a character etched with destiny as a criminal, thug, and Yakuza.

The film raises questions about the ethics and morality of the law enforcement system and the human rights of the suspects.
