Kantara opened in theatres on September 30, 2022, to critical acclaim. Kishore, Achyuth Kumar, Sapthami Gowda, and Pramod Shetty star in this film produced by Hombale Films of KGF fame.  

KGF Chapter 1 was the first Kannada film to rake in Rs 200 crore at the box-office, and the movie was produced by Hombale Films, where the second part bagged whopping around 1200 crores.

He played the role of upright forest officer Muralidhar in the recent sensational hit Kannada film Kantara, where the film won an whopping response, and made a good box office run.
