The tale of Rocky Bhai of the Kolar Gold Factory, which originates in Kannada town, is particularly well-known in South town. The film KGF, directed by Prashanth Neel and starring Yash in the dazzling role of Rocky Bhai, is likely to account for chucking Yash to international fame. The creators of the KGF have now specified the most recent information regarding the upcoming sequels.

The KGF films will not be released until after 2026, says Vijay Kiragandu, owner of Hombale Films and producer of the KGF franchise. According to him, pre-production on the follow-up film has not yet begun. He has also stated that future KGF films will feature new protagonists, much like the James Bond films. He continued, "The KGF series will have five more films and the heroes will swap."

Prashanth Neel, the film's director, is reportedly currently working on 'Salaar,' but plans to move on to a project starring Jr. NTR in the near future, sources says. Once that was done, production on "KGF Chapter 3" could start. There is a link between 'KGF Chapter 2' and 'Salaar,' according to sources. Additionally, they confirm that Yash from "Rocking Star" will also make an appearance.

KGF Chapter 1 was the film about Rocky, who becomes a gangster from a poor family. The first part revolves around fulfilling the desire of his mother in becoming a wealthy man. When he shows no mercy to his enemies, he enters Kolar Gold Fields where he was pained to see the plight and troubles embraced by the laborers working in the goldfield. The movie had amassed a pile of wealth and popularity across the borders which put Yash into the spotlight. KGF Chapter 1 was the first Kannada film to rake in Rs 200 crore at the box-office, and the movie was produced by Hombale Films, where the second part bagged whopping around 1200 crores.

The second part ended with Guru Pandyan, the minister Rocky Bhai mistook for an ally but who ultimately betrayed him by telling Adheera everything he needed to know, capped off chapter 2 of KGF. The film's ending dropped hints about a potential third film in the series. While Ravi Basrur has composed the music for KGF Chapter 2, Bhuvan Gowda and Srikanth Gowda have been roped in for cinematography and editing respectively. The movie has also inducted Prakash Raj, Eswari Rao, Anant Nag, and Nagabharana in important roles.
