The Crime Branch has intensified its probe into drug scam in Bengaluru after the Narcotics Control Bureau had initially arrested three persons from the city.
Congress MLA Srinivas Murthy, whose nephew Naveen was arrested in the case said, "Let's teach them a lesson for those who made mistakes through legal means. We will stand with you and I will stand with you. I request our Muslim friends to please remain peaceful".

According to the Union Health Ministry, Karnataka has reported 31,105 cases so far as of Friday morning of which 17,786 are active, 12,833 have been discharged, and 486 had succumbed to the virus.
