AK62, directed by Magizh Thirumeni, is still in the pre-production stage, but this casting announcement has already created a buzz among fans.

The film is expected to begin filming next month  of March, according to reliable sources.

Earlier as part of Vignesh Shivan's original plan, Anirudh was announced to be on board to provide the film's score.

According to the sources, Anirudh remains the frontrunner for the role of composer on this work in progress.
