Manobala had passed away on Wednesday at his residence at the age of 69 due to liver related ailments. Being a renowned artist with rich cinematic career, his sudden demise has shocked the fans and fraternities.

"At this time, I recalled his recent visit to and appreciation of the photo exhibition commemorating my 70th birthday ".

The versatile artist Manobala, who is known for his acting and directorials, has passed away on Wednesday - May 3 in Chennai at the age of 69 due to liver ailment. 

The celebrities were taken aback by the news of his sudden demise and a sense of shock was greatly visible beyond the industry. 

Manobala was a versatile artist who made a mark in Tamil cinema as an actor and director. He was a source of laughter and joy for many generations of viewers.

Manobala had also suffered from chest pain before and underwent an angio-treatment in January.

The 69 year old actor had a breakthrough in cinema in early 80s after Kamal Hassan reference.
