In a slew of issues, Tamil Nadu ruling DMK has decided to highlight two recent and important issues against the BJP along with the state-related issues.

MK Stalin and RN Ravi rubbed shoulders on Thursday - January 26 in a ceremony in Chennai that was organized on the occasion of Indian Republic Day. 

Like Tamil Nadu, its neighbour Kerala is also witnessing the tug-of-war between the state government and Governor Arif Mohammed Khan.

In the meeting that was held to ensure an effective police force to control crime and drug menace, the Chief Minister took stock of the law and order situation in the state. 

On Wednesday, a fortnight after claiming that it's more appropriate to call Tamil Nadu as 'Tamizhagam', Governor RN Ravi had issued a clarification after his remarks fueled protests against him.

Tamil Nadu Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin has expressed his agony over the decreasing interest among the Tamil Nadu students in pursuing the central government exams.

In April 2022, Chief Minister MK Stalin visited the Mohalla Clinics in New Delhi and after being touched by the services offered by these clinics, Stalin then announced that such clinics will be established in Tamil Nadu.

On his remark of advocating that Tamil Nadu must be called Tamizhagam, Governor Ravi remained tight-lipped amidst the growing protests and when the outrage was heightening, he has now given a clarification.

The meeting that was held on Monday has drawn a sharp attention and sparked speculations on whether Alagiri is making a political comeback. 

A month after becoming a minister, Udhayanidhi Stalin has now met MK Alagiri in Madurai for the first time in several years.
