The submission of the final report has come a day after the Madras High Court has given a go-ahead for the committee by dismissing the petition filed by Tamil Nadu BJP General Secretary Karu Nagarajan.

Vadivelu has joined the club of celebrities who contributed to the relief fund to aid the state government's measures to contain the pandemic and to enhance the medical infrastructure to address the health crisis. 

Tamil Nadu BJP General Secretary Karu Nagarajan had filed a petition in the High Court and sought a directive from the court to repeal the panel.

Thiagarajan said that the state government would bring out a white paper on the financial state of Tamil Nadu prior to presenting the budget for the year in the assembly.

Stalin has become the first Chief Minister in India to register his opposition against the bill, that was recently proposed by the Union government.
