Simbu is reprising Shivarajkumar's role. Gautham Karthik, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gautham Menon, Teejay, and Kalaiyarasan among others in pivotal roles.

The original Kannada film 'Mufti' starred Shivarajkumar and Sriimurali as the lead. In the Tamil version, Simbu is reprising Shivarajkumar's role. He is essaying the role of a gangster named AGR in the film.

As the movie's shooting has completed recently, Simbu shared exclusive pictures from the shooting sets after the wrap-up.
