The film is produced by Gnanamuthu Pattarai in association with White Nights Entertainment, and has Sam CS as the music composer, Harish Kannan as the cinematographer, and Kumaresh D as the editor.

The film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, and the film also features Chandini Tamilarasan, Hitesh S. Bharadwaaj,  Joshua Parisutham  in supporting roles.

As per reports, some of Agilan's most important scenes were reportedly filmed in Thoothukudi.
