The film was launched in September 2021 with a grand ceremony attended by Ranveer Singh, Chiranjeevi and S. S. Rajamouli.

The music of the film is composed by Thaman S, while the cinematography is handled by Tirru.

The film also features Trisha Krishnan as the female lead, and a host of other actors such as Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, Priya Anand, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, Matthew Thomas, Sandy and more

Stevenson was well-known for his roles in Hollywood films such as Thor, Punisher: War Zone, and Divergent.

Interestingly, it is also the first musical collaboration for S. Thaman with Shankar, after making his acting debut in Boys.

In accepting the trophy for Best Stunts, SS Rajamouli gave an emotional speech. he said "Mera Bharat Mahaan" and dedicated the honour to India.

Prem Rakshit, the song's choreographer, claimed to have written nearly 95 dances to go along with the tune, including 30 variations on the song's signature step in the chorus alone.

The film released on March 2022. The director also confirmed that the sequel will also be made on the fictional brothers' tale.

In what would become one of the landmark projects of 'Baahubali' director, 'RRR' comes as a big treat from Rajamouli.
