Vadivelu and Vijay have worked together in several films, such as Friends, Vaseegara,  Bagavathi, Madura, Sachein, Pokkiri, Villu, Sura and Kaavalan, Mersal.

Rajinikanth, who went to Andhra Pradesh for shooting, has now returned to Chennai after completing the shoot where he met the reporters.
