Thalapathy Vijay's heavily anticipated film 'Leo' has hit a roadblock as the cast and crew faced a scary earthquake while on a major shooting schedule in Kashmir. On March 21st, a quake with a magnitude of 6.5 rattled the area, forwarding occupants into a frenzy. To everyone's relief, there were no reported casualties or damage to equipment, and everyone on the team has been accounted for.

While Rathnakumar, the writer of 'Leo', took to Twitter to express his shock at the earthquake on Tuesday. Later end of the day, Fans of the film were reassured by producer Seven Screen Studios, who posted a meme video featuring Vadivelu to confirm the team's safety. Despite this minor setback, the team is pushing forward to bring the much-anticipated film to the big screen.

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj has been filming 'Leo' in Kashmir since February, with the schedule expected to continue till March 25th. However, despite the unexpected earthquake, reports suggest that the team is picking up the pace of filming, with Gautham Menon and Mysskin already completing their portions.

Sanjay Dutt, who plays the antagonist in the film, has also wrapped up his shoot in Kashmir and is set to join the team later. The team plans to complete the entire shooting schedule by May, with a short schedule planned in Chennai before heading to Hyderabad to shoot the climax sequence at Ramoji Film City.
