Reputed Tamil actor Dhanush has recently bought a new land at Poes Garden, which is one of the elite residential areas in Chennai, and he is at the final stage of beginning the construction of his dream house as he has conducted the groundbreaking ceremony for his new house on Wednesday in the presence of his family members and close relatives. 

Dhanush and his wife Aishwarya had performed the Bhoomi pooja on Wednesday and the ceremony was attended by Superstar Rajinikanth, who is the father-in-law of Dhanush, his wife Latha Rajinikanth, and the close family members had attended the ceremony. He recently bought the land in Poes Garden, where Rajinikanth resides for over thirty years. 

What more special about Poes Garden is that it carries the palatial residence of late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, who passed away in 2016. The Tamil Nadu government has recently passed the order of converting the residence into her memorial. The photos and visuals of the groundbreaking ceremony of Dhanush have been getting shared widely across social media. It is expected that the construction of the new house will begin soon.

Dhanush is one of the busiest actors of Kollywood who currently has several projects in his pipeline including the Hollywood movie 'The Gray Man', directed by 'The Avengers' fame Russo brothers. Dhanush has attended the groundbreaking ceremony after wrapping up the dubbing for his upcoming film 'Karnan' directed by Mari Selvaraj. Rajinikanth and his wife Latha were seen arriving at the ceremony in their luxury car. 

On February 9, Dhanush took to social media to post a screenshot from his upcoming film Karnan. In his caption, he wrote, "Karnan dubbing completed. You will hear his voice". Recently, the makers of Karnan had announced that the film will hit the theaters in the summer.
