Trending Buzz: Dhanush's second directorial D50 to get this title! And this popular director to join with the actor for the fifth time...

Dhanush has some serious lineups in store for his future projects including - Vaathi, Captain Miller and a exciting project where the actor to wear director's hat once again after Pa. Paandi. Dhanush - Mithran Jawahar's Thiruchitrambalam, which starred Dhanush, Nithya Menen, and Bharathiraja, won the people hearts and also filled the box office. Continuing the star's winning streak, Sun Pictures recently announced that the actor's tentatively project D50 will be backed by their banner.

Since the actor's next Vaathi directed by Venky Aluri will be released on February 17, hence the production on this new film will begin within the next few months of Captain Miller release. The film is rumoured to be called "Raayan" and will reportedly star Dhanush, SJ Suryaj, Vishu Vishal, Kalidas Jayaram, and Dushara Vijayan.

In addition, sources say that Kalidas Jayaram will also be involved. It has also been revealed that Mithran Jawahar to work with Dhanush for the fifth time, where the director to handle film's script. The film Thirucihtrambalam was the last project that the two of them worked on together.

The year 2022 saw the release of the actor's three Tamil films: Thirchitrambalam, naan Varuven, and Maaran and h His first Hollywood debut was The Gray Man, which was released in Netflix.  In addition to Vaathi and Captain Miller, Dhanush has signed a film with director Sekar Kammula that to be made in all three languages. The actor reportedly also has The Gray Man 2, Vadachennai 2, and Aayirathil Oruvan 2 in his future projects.

It is worth noting that Dhanush started working on his second directorial project in the year 2020 and gave it the title Naan Rudran. The film had SJ Suryah, Aditi Rao Hydari and Nagarjuna as a cast. However, the movie was junked after only one or two scheduled screenings. Film buffs are intrigued as to whether or not this project has been revived for D50.
