Jason Sanjay, the son of Thalapathy Vijay, is all set to make his directorial debut with a big-budget movie. The young filmmaker has already been in talk of the town for roping in some of the top names in the industry. But the most exciting news is that he has also managed to get the consent of his father’s good friend and versatile actor Vijay Sethupathi for a pivotal role in his movie.

According to sources, Jason Sanjay had approached Vijay Sethupathi with a script that impressed him a lot. The actor, who is known for his experimental and diverse roles, agreed to be a part of the project without any hesitation. The official announcement on this collaboration is expected to be made soon by the makers.

The official announcement of Sanjay's directorial debut was announced by Lyca Productions in August, where the banner wrote on social media, “We are beyond excited  & proud  to introduce #JasonSanjay in his Directorial Debut  We wish him a career filled with success & contentment  carrying forward the legacy”. 

The movie, which is yet to be titled, is said to be a thriller with a lot of twists and turns. The cast and crew of the movie are also being finalized and the shooting is likely to commence early next year. The fans of both Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi are eagerly waiting for this movie, which promises to be a treat for the eyes and ears.
