In a major development in Lokesh Kanagaraj's Leo is that the film has completed its Kashmir schedule and is gearing up for its next schedule in Chennai.  The film will soon resume its next shooting phase, where it will welcome a new member to its already impressive cast. The latest buzz is that Fahadh Faasil with a string of critically acclaimed performances to his credit has joined the 'Leo' team and will be seen in a key role in the film. 'Leo' is also speculated to be a part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe, which connects the director's previous films 'Kaithi' and 'Vikram' and fans can now look forward to seeing him offer his A-game to the table. The production of the film presumably cost around Rs 250 crore, and it has already made an astounding Rs 246 crore at the box office which includes Rs 150 crore from its digital rights, Rs 80 crore from its satellite rights, and Rs 16 crore from its music rights. The film will be released in Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. This Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial will be released on 19th October 2023.
