Trending: First review of Vijay's Varisu is making waves. This is what it says about the family entertainer

Vijay's first trilingual film Varisu is currently the talk of the town as the makers to release the film in two days on Wednesday. Earlier in the day it was announced that the Telugu version, Vaarasudu will hit theatres on Telugu states on 14th January, a red hot review for the film has been out. As per reports, the first review is out from overseas preview.

Directed by Vamsi Padipally who also directed Thozha, Varisu stars Rashmika Mandanna alongside the actor. The first international review of 'Varisu' has arrived, and it praises Vijay's performance. An international censor has been said to have quoted the following from the first review of Varisu, " #Vijay is a #beast and has proved his acting with mannerism and dialogues. He undergoes a spectrum of emotions in this family drama. Great to see such entertainment from him. * Simple content and heart-touching emotions".

Composed by S Thaman, the film also features Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Yogi Babu, Jayasudha, Sangeetha Krish, Shaam, Srikanth, and Samyuktha Shanmughanathan in important roles.  Producers Dil Raju and Shirish are bankrolling Varisu under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film sets for release in Hindi and Telugu with title, Vaaris, and Vaarasudu respectively. The movie's story is co-written by Ahishor Solomon along with Vamshi Paidipally,  Karthik Palani handled the camera while KL Praveen handled the edits.

'Varisu' FDFS opens at 4 AM IST on Jan 11, while Ajith's 'Thunivu' opens at 1 AM IST. Red Giant Movies along with Lalit Kumar's Seven Screen Studio bagged the theatrical distribution rights to Varisu in Tamil Nadu. With a total budget of around Rs 200 crores, the TV rights were purchased by Sun network for Rs 50 crores and the digital rights were purchased by Amazon Prime Video for Rs 60 crores.
