Leo is one of the most awaited Tamil movies of 2023, starring Vijay and Trisha in the lead roles. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, who has delivered blockbuster hits like Kaithi and Master, Leo promises to be a thrilling action-packed ride with a stellar star cast.

In a recent interview, Gautham Vasudev Menon, who is playing an important character in Leo, has shared some unknown details about his role and the film. He said, “I like Lokesh Kanagaraj a lot and this is an out and out director’s film. My favorite Trisha is also in it and we share screenspace in a few important scenes”.

GVM teased that his role has a ‘J’ in its name and he is a complex blend of a foe, an ally and a mastermind for Vijay’s character. He said that the fate of his role is still unknown as the final showdown of the movie is yet to be filmed.

The film also features Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin and many others in pivotal roles. The film is produced by Seven Screen Studio and has music by Anirudh Ravichander. Leo is scheduled to release on October 19, 2023, coinciding with the festive occasion of Diwali.

Leo is expected to be a pan-Indian film, as it will be dubbed and released in Telugu, Hindi and other languages as well. The Telugu theatrical rights of the film have reportedly fetched a whopping price of Rs 40 crore. The film is said to be a part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU), which connects his previous films Kaithi and Master through Easter eggs and references.
