Trending: Mysskin releases a statement on working with Lokesh Kanagaraj's Leo!

Leo starring Thalapathy Vijay and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj has been the subject of chatter on social media ever since its announcement and rain of updates from this month beginning. In the latest development, filmmaker Mysskin has recently put out an official statement reporting that he has confirmed the completion of his shooting schedule for the film. The film which marks the actor reunion with Vijay after 21 years of film Thamizhan release.

The versatile filmmaker turned actor took to Twitter on Monday and shared a heartfelt long written note. In the statement, Mysskin expressed his appreciation for the 500-member crew who worked tirelessly at minus 12 degrees to complete his part. He also praised the efforts of the assistant directors and their love towards him.

The filmmaker was impressed by the action sequence filmed by stunt masters Anbariv, and he applauded the dedication of the film's producer Lalit who worked alongside the crew despite the cold weather. The statement further added, "My Lokesh Kanagaraj was working as a qualified director, with love, strictness and a common thought process, like a warrior on a battlefield. He gave me a hug after my last shot, and I kissed him on his forehead. I feel happy to have worked as a co-star with my dearest brother Vijay, in this film. I'll never forget his cordial behaviour with me and his love,"

The statement concludes with Mysskin's firm belief that 'Leo' will be a massive success. With this, Fans of the film are looking forward to witness the collaboration of this talented trio of Thalapathy Vijay, Lokesh Kanagaraj and Mysskin. The film scheduled to release on 19th October 2023.

The film took on floors on last month of 2nd January. Leo is bankrolled by Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palaniswamy with Anirudh scoring the music, Manoj Paramahamsa handling the camera, Philomin Raj in charge of the edits, and stunt choreography handled by Anbariv. The ensemble cast comprising Thalapathy Vijay, Trisha Krishnan, Sanjay Dutt, Action King Arjun, Priya Anand, Sandy, Mathew Thomas, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin and Mansoor Ali Khan.
