The horror fans are in for a treat as the third installment of the popular ‘Pizza’ franchise is all set to hit the screens on July 28. The film, titled ‘Pizza 3: The Mummy’, promises to deliver a spine-chilling experience with a gripping plot and a stellar cast.

‘Pizza 3: The Mummy’ is directed by Mohan Govind, who has also written the script. The film features Ashwin Kakimanu and Pavithra Marimuthu in the lead roles, while Gaurav Narayanan, Abhishek Shankar, Kaali Venkat, Anupama Kumar and others play supporting roles. The film is produced by C V Kumar under his banner Thirukumaran Entertainment, which has also bankrolled the previous two films in the franchise.

The film revolves around the protagonist, who is a food delivery boy, and his encounter with a series of murders that take place exactly where he delivers food. The film also involves a mysterious mummy that adds to the horror quotient. The film’s teaser, which was released earlier, has already created a buzz among the audience with its intriguing visuals and suspenseful background score by Arun Raj.

‘Pizza 3: The Mummy’ is expected to be a thrilling ride for the horror lovers, who have enjoyed the first two films in the franchise. The first film, ‘Pizza’, which was released in 2012, starred Vijay Sethupathi and Remya Nambeesan and was directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The film was a huge hit and was praised for its innovative storytelling and technical brilliance. The second film, ‘Pizza II: Villa’, which was released in 2013, starred Ashok Selvan and Sanchita Shetty and was directed by Deepan Chakravarthy. The film was also well-received by the critics and the audience for its engaging plot and twists.

‘Pizza 3: The Mummy’ is one of the most awaited films of this year and is likely to face a tough competition at the box office as it clashes with Santhanam’s ‘DD Returns’ and Harish Kalyan’s ‘LGM’.
