Tinseltown is buzzing with the news that veteran actor Arjun Sarja is set to direct the Malayalam superstar in an upcoming project. The news was revealed by Arjun himself at a recent event. Speaking to the media, Arjun said that he have already discussed making the film together with Mohanlal, and even if it doesn't get off the ground right away. It's worth noting that Arjun Sarja acted with Mohanlal in the film 'Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham'.

A teaser launch event for Dhruva Sarja's Martin was where the actor dropped this intriguing update. The actor asserted that he and Mohanlal had already talked about the production. He added that the film will not start immediately anytime soon, but promised that it would be happen for sure.  Fans of both Arjun and Mohanlal are eagerly awaiting more details about their upcoming collaboration.

While no further information has been released about the project, fans can rest assured that the combination of these two powerhouses of Indian cinema is sure to create a cinematic encounter like no other. The action King Arjun also known for his directorial works in the past, having worked in several Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada films. He last helmed a film back in 2018.

Apart from acting and directing, he is also known for his work as a producer and screenwriter. Currently, Arjun is also busy with his acting commitment in Lokesh Kanagaraj's Leo, which is set to release on October this year. Meanwhile, Mohanlal has been making headlines with his back-to-back film projects.

The versatile actor recently wrapped up the first Jaisalmer schedule of Malaikottai Valiban, an upcoming action thriller helmed by Lijo Jose Pellissery. Mohanlal is also playing a key role in Rajinikanth's Jailer, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, and with director Jeethu Joseph for a new film Ram which have Trisha as the female lead. In an interesting twist, Mohanlal's first directorial effort, titled Barroz, is currently wrapping up post-production and is set for a summer release.
