Dhanush's fans have been eagerly waiting for his next project after his bilingual debut "Vaathi'. And now, the wait is finally over. The latest buzz in the industry is that the team behind the blockbuster social drama "Karnan" is all set to collaborate once again. The film will be produced under Dhanush's own production banner, Wunderbar Films.

Mari Selvaraj, who directed the highly successful "Karnan", will be directing this new movie with Dhanush in the lead role. The news was confirmed by film insiders, who also revealed that the project will start rolling after Mari Selvaraj completes his ongoing project with Dhruv Vikram.

The collaboration between Dhanush and Mari Selvaraj in "Karnan" was much appreciated by both critics and audiences alike. It was touted as one of the best films of 2021, and the expectations are naturally high for their next collaboration.

Meanwhile, Mari Selvaraj is gearing for his upcoming film Maamannan which stars Udhayanidhi Stalin, which is said to be the retired actor's last film venture. And Dhanush on otherside also has his hands full with multiple projects. He is currently busy shooting for "Captain Miller" with director Arun Matheswaran. He will also be making his second debut with Telugu director Sekhar Kammula after Venky Atluri's Vaathi.

Apart from these projects, Dhanush is also set to appear in the highly anticipated "Vadachennai 2", a sequel to his critically acclaimed 2018 film "Vadachennai". He is also set to direct "D50", which will be backed by Sun Pictures. It will be Dhanush's second directorial venture after his successful directorial debut "Pa Paandi".
