The much-awaited trailer of the romantic comedy Kushi, starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Deverakonda, is all set to release on August 9. The film team announced this by unveiling a new poster featuring the lead pair in a cozy embrace. The poster also revealed the release date of the film, which is September 1, 2023.

The trailer will be two minute and forty one seconds. Vijay Devarkonda took to Twitter on Monday and dropped the update, writing, "It's here. This Aug 9th. 2 mins 41 secs of #KushiTrailer  #Kushi Releasing worldwide September 1!".

The film is written and directed by Shiva Nirvana, who has previously delivered hits like Ninnu Kori, Majili, and Tuck Jagadish. The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, who have backed blockbuster films like Rangasthalam, Srimanthudu, and Janatha Garage. The film marks the first collaboration of Samantha and Vijay, who are two of the most popular and talented actors in the Telugu film industry.

Samantha, has been making headlines with her bold choices and stunning performances in recent times, who was last seen in Shaakunthalam. Vijay, on the other hand, has been ruling the box office with his charismatic screen presence and versatile roles. He was last seen in the action drama Liger, where he played a mixed martial arts fighter who faces a ruthless opponent from Thailand.

Kushi is a film that explores the relationship between two strangers who meet at a wedding and decide to help each other find their true love. However, things get complicated when they realize that they have fallen for each other.
