The film marks the second collaboration between Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu after their critically acclaimed performance in 'Mahanati', where they played pivotal cameo roles.

The crime-thriller series also stars Bhuvan Arora, and veteran actor Amol Palekar. Raj & DK have written the show with Sita R Menon and Suman Kumar. The series have a total of eight episodes.

Interestingly, the film featured Allu Arha, the daughter of actor Allu Arjun plays the pivotal role, which marks her debut in the film.

For the first time in her film career, Samantha Prabhu ventures into a period drama, and its based on a play told in the epic Mahabharatha.
