"Killer stuff"... This popular actress lauds Vijay Sethupathi's debut series Farzi

Titled, Farzi the series directed by Raj and DK, who is fame for The Family Man released on 10th February in Amazon Prime Video which marked Vijay Sethupathi's first series debut, and in Hindi bel with Shahid Kapoor. The series garnering praise from everywhere for its crisp and gripping episodes.

Samantha, who played the starring role in the second season of Raj and DK's hit show The Family Man, has recently seen Farzi and gushed about it. Samantha shared a story on Instagram, which reads "Entertainment and so much fun and yet such complex characters and relationships. Such an international feel to the show. I loved every performance, and everyone in the cast was so good. The writing, editing, music and dialogue, especially all the witty one-liners. Killer stuff, as expected from Raj & DK."

Regina Cassandra, Rashi Kanna plays the female leads, where this is Raashi Kanna's second collaboration with Vijay Sethupathi after Sangathamizhan. The crime-thriller series also stars Bhuvan Arora, and veteran actor Amol Palekar. Raj & DK have written the show with Sita R Menon and Suman Kumar. The series have a total of eight episodes.

Vijay Sethupathi, interestingly, also provides his own voice for the Hindi dub. The actor explained in an interview that he refused to have his lines dubbed and insisted on speaking them in Hindi. The show follows a struggling artist whose life takes an unexpected turn when he creates a flawless forgery note and becomes entangled in the world of counterfeiting. While the high-stakes con job establishes the series' tone, things take a surprising turn with an upstanding cop who is determined to put a stop the fradulent guy.
