US Elections: Another big setback for Trump as Biden gets much closer to the White House!

In yet another major backlash, Republican incumbent Donald Trump has been witnessing that his chances of re-election have been getting collapsed after Democrat Joe Biden has been advancing towards the victory as the former Vice-President gets closer to the White House with a major lead in the key battleground states.

On Friday, amid the staunch tug-of-war, Joe Biden has been leading in the battleground states like Georgia and Pennsylvania and the lead in both the states has pushed Biden forward and given a crucial boost in winning the presidency, while Trump, with the major setback, has been getting pushed to the state of conceding the defeat and exiting the White House.

With the lead in Georgia and Pennsylvania, Joe Biden could possibly secure around 300 electoral votes, thirty votes more than the magical number of 270, if he was declared the winner and with that, he would become the 46th President of the United States. According to Reuters, Joe Biden currently stands with 253 electoral votes against 214 secured by incumbent Trump. Most of the news agencies had projected that Georgia would be picking Biden as its choice for President.

77-year-old Biden would become the next President by winning Pennsylvania or by winning two of these three states - Georgia, Nevada, and Arizona. The latest poll shows that Biden has been leading in all four states and he wins Georgia, he would be the first Democratic presidential candidate to win the state since Bill Clinton won the White House in 1992.

Georgia has nearly to get blue by levying more disappointments to Trump as the state, ruled by GOP, has seemingly rejected his presidency, and Biden's lead and dominance in Georgia were made possible by the large turnout of African-American and young voters in Atlanta and in major suburbs while Pennsylvania is slightly getting towards Biden and with the more uncounted mail-in ballots in the state, Biden would be getting more votes and fishing the state into his column.

On the western side, Biden had seen his lead getting shrunk in Arizona to around 47,000 by early on Friday while he was still ahead by 12,000 votes in Nevada. As most of the states had done with the counting where Biden holds a sharp lead, the four states - Georgia, Pennsylvania, Nevada, and Arizona will be the crucial gamechanger deciding the winner.

The electoral officials from Georgia and Pennsylvania had asserted that they would finish counting on Friday while Arizona and Nevada were still expected to take more days to declare its final results. As the world's strongest economy has been witnessing the strong and unprecedented political divide, it's less likely that Trump would get re-elected to the White House as most of the states had rejected his flawed presidency and the battleground states have also been echoing the rejection.

The setback from Georgia and Pennsylvania has been yet another blow to Donald Trump and it had come hours after he faced a blow after his legal battle had turned against him. In his bid to stir the mess and applying brakes to Biden's lead, Trump had filed lawsuits in the states like Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. He demanded a recount in Wisconsin while he urged to stop vote counting in the rest of the three states by alleging voter fraud.

However, the judges in Michigan and Georgia had dismissed his lawsuits while he has fewer possibilities to have relief in the other battleground states. Being mentally unprepared to concede the defeat, Trump has been mulling to somehow prevent the debacle and do whatever it takes to hold the office for another term. As getting back to back setbacks, Trump has been upholding his rhetoric and false claims that the election was being stolen from him.

Without offering concrete evidence, Trump said, "This is a case where they (democrats) are trying to steal an election". Trump has been unveiling measures that will help him in some way to have relief as he has been trying to avoid becoming the first incumbent US President to lose a re-election bid since George HW Bush, who lost the re-election in 1992. The reports say that despite losing the race, Trump has been in imagination that he has already won the election and his team gets ready to uphold the claim that Biden has stolen the election from them. According to the Associated Press, Joe Biden has been leading Trump in Georgia with thousand votes, by the time of writing this content, and he has been expected to hold a strong lead when the mail-in ballots get fully unfolded.
