In what would become relishing news for the ardent fans of Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi, the actor is all set to join hands with the popular director for the fifth time. Kollywood is buzzed with speculations over a significant reunification of the actor and the project is expected to hit the floor within this year. 

Vijay Sethupathi's market is at its peak after several blockbuster hits. His role in 'Master' as an antagonist against Thalapathy Vijay has become a career-breaking appearance and he is one of the busiest actors in Kollywood. Amid having several projects in his pipeline, Vijay Sethupathi will be joining hands with director Seenu Ramasamy for the fifth time. 

The combo has surged each other's careers to the next level. Seenu Ramasamy is the one who introduced Vijay Sethupathi as a hero. In 2010, Vijay Sethupathi has made his debut as a hero in Ramasamy's directorial 'Thenmerku Paruvakaatru'. The movie has garnered massive reception across and beyond the borders. The movie was conferred with the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Tamil. 

With the successful unification, the combo had reunified for the second time through the movie 'Idam Porul Eval' which sparked more attention. However, due to financial issues, the movie hasn't got released. But, it didn't end the combo as Vijay Sethupathi and Seenu Ramasamy had continued their journey. For the third time, they reunified in 'Dharmadurai' that hit the big screens in 2016. 

While Vijay Sethupathi played the lead role, Tamannah and Aishwarya Rajesh had played the female lead in Dharmadurai. The movie was a blockbuster hit and earned positive reception. They again joined for the fourth time and worked on the project 'Maamanithan'. The shooting is over and the movie is at the final stage of getting released. 

Amid waiting for the release of their fourth project, Vijay Sethupathi and Seenu Ramasamy are all set to join hands for the fifth time and the new project will be commencing soon. According to reports close to the developments, their fifth movie will be bankrolled by Kalaipuli S Thanu under the banner of 'V' Creations. 

It has been expected that the official announcement will be made soon. Currently, Vijay Sethupathi is working on the upcoming Malayalam film '19(1)(a)' and it will mark Vijay Sethupathi's second Malayalam movie. The actor has many projects in the pipeline including 'Laabam', 'Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal', and 'Vidhuthalai'. He will also be hosting a reality show 'Master Chef Tamil', which will be aired soon.
