Viral: Lokesh Kanagaraj - Vijay's Leo title teaser is unstoppable! Here's the milestone the promo video reached

This week, the makers of Vijay's next Leo treated the fans to a slew of updates, beginning with the announcement of the film's cast and ultimately ending with the announcement of the tentative project Thalapathy67's title  as Leo. The video of Vijay's new, darker avatar keeping the fans in fever and the new update is unstoppable for its virality as it crossed 20 million views. The Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial Leo  will be released on 19th October 2023.

The video has on today crossed 20 million views on YouTube within 24 hours of its release and makers shared the whopping update by taking us to Twitter, "A HUMONGOUS MILLION real-time views! #BloodySweet it is!" By the time of writing this content, the video surpassed 25 million views and grips the first place on Trending charts of YouTube.

Whether or not this film is part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe which includes Kaithi and Vikram has been the subject of much speculation ever since the first title teaser was posted. In a previous interview, Lokesh Kanagaraj said, "If my next movie has anything to do with LCU, it would be in the title." As a sense, there is no tag attached to the film's title, leaving many viewers bewildered.

While Thalapathy Vijay leads the film, Sanjay Dutt, Trisha, Priya Anand, Arjun, Mansoor Ali Khan plays pivotal roles. The buzz also have its share on the cast Vikram, and cameos of Suriya as Rolex, Kamal Hassan as Vikram may appear. Aniruth has been roped for composing the musical score. Manoj Paramahamsa handle the camera, Philomin Raj handles the editing.

The film began on floors on January 2 2023 reportedly and the first schedule has wrapped in Kodaikanal last month and the team currently having few portions in Kashmir. The film also marks Vijay's collaboration with Trisha after 14 years. Netflix bought the streaming rights while Sun TV bought the satellite rights. The film will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.
